Funded by the Mellon Foundation and administered through CLIR (Council on Library and Information Resources), this project digitized thousands of resources created by black Iowans from the 19th through 21st centuries. Explore this site to find local newspapers, oral histories, artifacts, photographs, event programs, and other resources. The resources were contributed by seven organizations collaborating on the grant project.
